Enterprise Intervention in schools
Project objectives:
- Provide a bespoke programme, negotiated with each participating institution to meet the needs of their disaffected and disadvantaged student body to raise aspiration and employability skills
- Offer students the opportunity to achieve nationally accredited units (leading to a GCSE equivalent vocational qualification) in subjects of specific and general interest to them, in line with their career aspirations
- Provide a comprehensive overview for leadership teams and governors of what enterprise education activities are occurring across the school embedded in schemes of work and through complementary programmes in co-curricular and extra-curricular activity
- Enabling the achievement of the nationally accredited Excellence in Enterprise Education Award from Warwick University CEI
- Provide in-service training to members of staff
