East Angles:Shifting Sands
From September 2007 to July 2008 young people from Lowestoft, Gorleston and Great Yarmouth took part in researching the heritage of their towns and putting together a real and a virtual exhibition to celebrate the shared heritage of the area.
The young people’s interpretations included song (Roman Hill Primary, Elm Tree Primary, GFS Platform great Yarmouth), performance (Roman Hill Primary, the Ashley School, Elm Tree Primary), Heritage games (North Denes Middle School, Oriel High School) Innovative exhibits (Brooklands Centre, The Denes High School, Harris Middle School, Oriel High School, Peterhouse Middle School, Herman Middle School, Breydon Middle School, Cliff Park High School); interviews with older people (Corton Primary School, the Warren Special School); animations (Brooklands Centre, Roman High Primary School), website design (Kirkley High School); logo design (Great Yarmouth College)
